  I was treated with pure contempt when I queried the PET PSMA scan's that had been done (paid $900+ a scan) many times for my type of prostate cancer pre and post operative. When asked I was told there was a mistake using PET PSMA and that it wasn't the correct type of scan after 18 months of flying from Cairns to Brisbane to have them done. There was no empathy shown and I was then forced to pay another $900 the next day for a repeat scan. This time a PET FDG, forcing me to stay another night and to go through the stress of a long scan. Wesley pushed me had to pay twice and wouldn't commit to which scan was the correct scan for future secondary cancer followup! I was appalled, I have since gone to the Marter Hospital in Brisbane where QLD Xray's operates, here I have had follow up cancer PET scans, they advised that PET PSMA is the correct scan and that PET FDG was not necessary. They were very professional and helpful. Wesley Medical Imaging showed incompetence, arrogance and scant regard for my feeling or my heath-care. They were mean spirited to charge me twice when it was their error!!! My life was on the balance and these people had only one motive when it came down to it; to cover their asses and retrieve costs!!
